Midas comes from my fascination with transformation in the moment when something ordinary becomes precious. Inspired by the story of King Midas, cotton threads are turned into metallic gold and used as ornamentation that grows from the garment itself, outlining classic silhouettes. Manually-knitted cotton yarn in a ladder stitch creates free-sized, trans-seasonal layers meant for movement, and moments of celebration.
